Personality and History
Personality: When first approached Patience will seem withdrawn, a bit on edge, and generally like she has built a cocoon around herself to keep others from getting too close to her - the majority of her life she was not allowed to get too attached to anything or anyone or, for that matter, allow her feelings to get in the way of what she needed to do. However should she get close enough to someone she is the manisfestation of both her name and alias: Patience. She has a willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with any form of delay and can come across as quiet with a steady perseverance an is even-tempered. Generally she is the complete contrast to the militant woman she was brought up to be - almost like there is a Jeckyll and Hyde personality about her - two different acts for two different roles she must play in her life.
History: Before she was placed in front of the Untempered Schism at the tender age of just 8 years old she had a strict upbringing and the beliefs of both her parents were forced upon her until she knew of nothing else but them. She was told to trust no one but her family and so the vortex neither drove her mad or made her run away instead she just stood before it and took every part of it into her mind with not so much as a twitch from her eye. The initiation ceremony to attend the Time Academy had come easy to her. Throughout the years at the Academy she kept herself to herself, did the work that she needed to do, and very rarely spoke to anyone other then the Professors and even that was a rare thing to see her doing. It made her into a recluse and outside of lessons she was never seen by any of the kids around her - no one ever knew where she disappeared off to.
Her strict father always stayed loyal to the government on Gallifrey, no matter what decisions they made, and he wasn't happy until his own family stood by him and their government too so for years Patience was secretly taught to fight, along with a select few, but was never told the reason why. Emotions and feelings were stripped from them as they were taught to become ruthless assassins - a complete contrast to the picture they were being shown of their race in the lessons they attended within the Academy - it was enough to drive anyone beyond the point of no return. Then the Time War came and the reason behind all those years of secret training came into full view. Her and the others were going to be the ones that protected the government as they became nothing more then a corrupted mess - they were the ones that were going to force the others to side with them and save themselves from certain death. It was an horrendous time and it scarred Patience both mentally and physically. She was the only one who had stayed connected with the smallest hint of her emotions and she knew what she was doing was wrong - so she fled. She betrayed the very people she was supposed to protect and escaped the war.
