Age: Claims to be nine hundredish but really in the thousands. Sexuality: Considering the whole falling in love with humans bit-- omisexual. Species: Time Lord Home Planet: Gallifrey, House of Lungborrow Faction: Wants to be neutral but kinda sort of started the war so naturally ended up siding with the Time Lords. One could say he is on his own side and stands up for what the Doctor believes is the right thing to do. Abilities: Creative thinking, improvisation, thinking outside the box, being silly, running, brilliant, meddling into unwanted affairs, and tinkering. Weaknesses: Brave, giving second chances, Earth, the past, Humans, former companions, compassion, jelly babies, fezes, fish fingers and custard, and never having enough time to get everything accomplished.
Character Looks
Height: 6'1 Weight: 756 Newtons Hair: Long, messy, expresso. Eyes: Hazel Description:
Clothing: Bow ties, matching suspenders (either in crimson or navy), tweed jacket, button down shirt with matching stripes on the cuff, black trousers, black boots, and black socks. Occasionally wears a fez, or some sort of bizarre cultural hat or shades. Other odd features: Never once was ginger, and has a navel which is just odd as Time Lords are loomed and don't typically have navels.
Personality and History
Personality: The Doctor is extremely capable of boundless enthusiasm even during the most inappropriate times. While many Doctors have intentionally flouted social conventions. Charismatic and manic and with boundless energy, the Time War caused him a deep ranging anger that Rose Tyler made better. However he tends to act without hesitation in cases dealing with things he is strongly against such as genocide. According to him genocide is defined in a dictionary with a picture of himself with the caption, “over my dead body.” The Doctor does not pursue going about second chances, he doesn't like believing in them anymore, no ands ifs or buts. The end. Period.
Despite his sense of childishness and tendency to act like a twelve year old, the Doctor’s age is slowly beginning to catch up with him. He is begging to realize that he is no longer a boy and can’t go running around like he will never grow up and fly off to Neverneverland. Behind his acts of childishness the Doctor is hiding his true feelings of loneliness. It’s all a game to him, he makes people and aliens alike think he is having the time of his life when in fact he is alone. A lonely angel as Reinette put it. Underneath this jolly Doctor lies a very old man who has seen many terrible things in his life. Sure he hides all of this with his arrogance claiming he knows everything when in fact no one can really know everything as the universe holds spoilers. With age comes the test of his patience, his neglect of giving true compassion, and stubbornness. With this comes his lack for accepting defeat or failure. At times he is an optimist and others he leans toward a more realistic outlook on the world.
Whatever is tossed in his way the Doctor feels driven to prevent destruction and suffering no matter the cost. He blames himself for starting the Time War and does not hesitate to throw his own life on the line for another life. Trouble seems to be his middle name because it tends to follow him where ever he goes. No matter where the TARDIS lands trouble of some sort seems to keep the Doctor and his companions on their toes. In fact it became one of his reputations; records of the Doctor though time and space share his heroism as long with his knack of leaving messes behind.
Nobody is perfect, even the Doctor makes mistakes. Yet he does so in a very arrogant manor. If someone brings up that he is doing something wrong or committing some horrible act, the Doctor just simply ignores them or takes the Lewis Carroll method and changes the subject. A large part of the Doctor’s identity is saving the universe and making sure time lines stay intact and occur the way they are supposed to happen. He is the keeper of fixed points in time and goes to the extremes of keeping it as such. For instance he was the cause of Pompeii. The Doctor will take the lives of innocent nations in order to keep time in running order. However as time went on he became more hesitant about doing so but he does what he thinks best during the spur of the moment.
Lastly, Theta Sigma is an INTP personality type. He loves being challenged both physically and mentally. Epically game puzzles like chess. Anything that helps his brain grow and busy he finds highly amusing. Generally he has a renaissance of things he is interested in. He is easy amused with new ideas and allows himself to explore knowledge to see what he can learn from it, what he can use form it and thus use it to achieve greatness. Theta values above everything making his ideas and dreams reality. He wants his dream world to be his real one. Another thing he generally does is break rules as he tests the limit, He goes out of bounds because he dares to and because it what later leads him down the wrong alleyway. Moreover he doesn't like to argue with people, he is carefree and doesn't think about consensuses until it is too late.
History: Like all Time Lords, Theta Sigma was loomed into of the house of Lungburrow among his 44 cousins. He was made fun of by his cousins because he had a belly button. They called, his “snail and wormhole.” This angered him and led him to disgrace his name that got taken away from him. Theta Sigma was just a mere title that was given him. This was not very nice on their behalf but it happened never the less. In his early childhood he went though rapid training with his favorite Uncle Quences. With his Uncle he learned about the complicities of basics of Quantum Mechanics and all kinds of things from histories all the way to algebra. It was a hard learning experience for him yet it had to be done. His Uncle gave him a very large machine to make sure he would keep up with his studies who was later known as Bagger because he was big and bulky in a bagger like way. Then he spent quite a while up with a hermit in Mount Lung, which was just south of his home. He was K'anpo and they became very close. In fact he developed the name of Pooh for him, to which he still would refer to him as. There upon the mountain he learned about what life was and a bunch of hippy like ideals; love and peace and all that jazz.
Years later, he is summed home as he got into the Pryodain Academy. He was the first of his cousins to get in, which makes his family very proud of their little time tot. As a present before the Time Lords came for him, he received a law book, which he is always seen with as he treasures it very much. He was eight years old, young and naive and still acted like a child. Placed before the vortex like all other children he sank to the ground and cried. Theta tired to run away yet they held him down. They made him look into all of time and space. Ever since he had been running. Then it was off to their version of rapid training . . . even though the novice Time Lord did horribly in school. One day he was called to the headmaster’s office and they held a little chat. Amazel stood up for the boy and offered to mentor him, which he did as well as he got assigned a study buddy whom later becomes his bosom friend and gets feelings for. That was Koschei, head of the class. Later, Koschei and himself with some others form a little school grope called Decca and they like any other group of mates have all sorts of adventures and study groups.
His grades being to go up and Theta Sigma is bullied. He has a very depressing childhood as such. Yet the lad is very homesick and wants to go back to Lungburrow and Mount Lung. However when he tries to run away from school he is stopped and told that everything he wants with his life would be ruined if he does not stay, and stay he does. His lessons go on and he leans them, rapidly always wanting more and more. It never seemed to be enough for him. Theta wanted to travel and even the school’s field trips were not enough for him, he wanted to see the universe, to live there and get his doctorates in everything. After he graduated with the class of '92 he went on to campaign the ban of miniscopes and moves onwards to his Doctoral studies and becomes known universally as the Doctor.
He traveled around the universe with Susan his granddaughter for quite some time.
Have you ever thought what it's like to be wanderers in the Fourth Dimension? Have you? To be exiles? Susan and I are cut off from our own planet - without friends or protection. But one day we shall get back. Yes, one day....
They hang out in the United Kingdom—England to be exact- in the 1960's while Susan studied in Coal Hill School. Susan just had to have a curious bunch of professors who followed her back to the junk yard where the TARDIS was parked.
It all started out as a mild curiosity in the junkyard, and now it's turned out to be quite a great spirit of adventure.
In the end he drops them off along with his granddaughter because he wants to give her a new life. Then later on his trip to the Tenth Planet he grows weaker and reincarnates to his second form. Now he travels with Ben and Polly, then it becomes to traveling with Jamie and Zoey. Always saving the world from destruction and keeping everything they way it’s supposed to be. Unfortunately Jamie and Zoey’s minds are wiped clean and the Doctor gets sentenced to a regeneration and exile on Earth. This brings the reader to his fourth body form. But, in between that he is sent on a bunch of missions from the CIA. After he is in his third state he hooks up with Sarah Jane and travels the universe with her. During their travels they go to the Planet of the Spiders and gets strongly affected by the radiation of the crystals. He regenerates ten years later into his fifth form. Then he continues to travel and regenerates several more times. Then the Time War occurred. During the War he destroyed Gallifrey as he wanted the Darleks not to get the power of time so it went KABOOM; it got blown up and wiped off the face of history and all of the galactic maps of the universe. The Doctor can never go back to Gallifrey.
In his ninth form he meets the one and only Rose Tyler. The normal girl form London who survives her life on chips and pizza. He officers her to travel around with him. During their adventures they travel to Satellite 5, New New York, and many other places. While on Satellite 5 he discovers that the Darleks had survived the great time war, a war between his people and them. His people and planet got destroyed in that war, but he and them somehow survived. Rose sucked up the void and distorted the Darleks and brought Jack Harkness back to life. However the Doctor took the void out of Rose.
Rose Tyler. I was gonna take you to so many places. Barcelona! Not the city Barcelona, the planet Barcelona. You'd love it, fantastic place! They've got dogs with no noses! Imagine how many times a day you end up telling that joke and it's still funny! Then.... why can't we go? Maybe you will, and maybe I will. But not like this. You're not making sense! I might never make sense again! I might have two heads, or no head. Imagine me with no head! And don't say that's an improvement. But it's a bit dodgy, this process. You never know what you're gonna end up with. Doctor!! Stay away!! Doctor, tell me what's going on- I absorbed all the energy of the time vortex, and no one's meant to do that- every cell in my body's dying. Isn't there something you can do? Yeah, I'm doing it now. See, Time Lords have this little trick, it's sort of a way of cheating death. Except.... it means I'm gonna change. And you're not gonna see me again. Not like this. Not with this daft old face. And before I go- Don't say that-! Rose, before I go, I just wanna tell you: you were fantastic, absolutely fantastic. And you know what? So was I!
And so the Doctor regenerates into his current form to save himself.
New teeth. That's weird. So where was I? Oh that's right! Barcelona!
Rose learns to accept her new Doctor, he realizes that maybe they have something more than just a companionship. He never ends up taking her to Barcelona, the planet with no noses and end up catches up with his old companion Sarah Jane Smith and K-9 but she leaves him after saving the universe yet again. Everything seemed like it was going to work out with them.
How long are you going to stay with me? Forever.
Yet it did not work out like that. Nothing good lasts forever. They ended up fighting Cybermen and Darkles side by side when Rose let’s go of the lever while they were closing up the void over at Torchwood One. The day is now dubbed the Battle of Canary Warf. The Doctor loses her until he orbits a supernova to get one more chance to tell her what he always wanted to tell her, that he loves her.
Rose Tyler, defender of the Earth... You're dead -officially- back home. So many people died that day and you've gone missing. You're on the list of the dead. Here you are, living your life day after day. The one adventure I can never have. Am I ever going to see you again? You can't. What are you going to do? Back to the TARDIS. Same old life. On your own? Yes. I- .... I love you. Quite right too. And I suppose, if it's my last chance to say it: Rose Tyler...
Yet he failed at that as well because he couldn't even tell her what he wanted to say to her which was, "Rose Tyler I love you too." Now she is in a Parallel Universe alone with her mum, dad, and Mickey.
However he didn't get the change to and couldn't seem to tell her this as he has to be alone. But, he moved on to Doctor Martha Jones whom he met while exploring the usual stay alien in 21st Century Earth. During his travels with her, he takes her to New New York. There The Doctor reencounters the Face of Boe for the very last time and he told him that he was not in fact alone (of course it is the Master as he was hiding on Earth for quite some time). So later in his travels he comes across the laser technology without him even seeing it happen across him face that it was Koschie (that was the whole incident with the Lazarus experiment). Anyways moving along the timeline he meets Professor Yana at the end of the world as Jack just had to jump on the TARDIS and cause havoc to the rest of the world as little did they know, until he opened the fob-watch that Yana was the acronym for "Y ou A re N ot A lone" and he was the Master. But moving on he steals the TARDIS while the Doctor tries to get in but it is of course dead locked by then as the duo are ever so predictable and the Doctor ends up making it capable to go back to the 21st century England where he becomes "Harold Saxon," and more importantly the Prime Minister. Then he tries to take over the world, the Doctor tries to stop him as usual and it ends up in the year that never really was. So what happens to the Master after all of this? Well the Doctor being his usual forgiving self decides to keep in the TARDIS to "look after him" with him being the so called "last of the Time Lords" thus making him his responsibly. Nobody seemed to notice that his wife, Lucy Saxon had a gun and shot him.
Always the women. I didn't see her. Dying in your arms. Happy now? You're not dying, don't be stupid. It's only a bullet, just regenerate. No. One little bullet, come on. I guess you don't know me so well, I refuse. Regenerate. Just regenerate. Please. Please! Just regenerate! Come on! And spend the rest of my life imprisoned with you? But you've got to. Come on. It can't end like this. You and me, all the things we've done. Axons, remember the Axons? And the Daleks? We're the only two left. I have no one else. REGENERATE!
But then the Master passes on. Respectfully the Doctor burns his body on a funeral pier and moves on from Martha (as she walks out on him) and goes traveling with Donna Nobel (the mad bride he encountered by sheer dumb luck) where we pick up with his adventures. The Doctor reencounters Donna when he was checking out a newly developed diet pills. She insisted that he take her with him as she wanted to travel and he wanted a mate.
With Martha, like I said, it got ... complicated. And that was all my fault. I just want a mate. You just want to mate?! I just want a mate! You're not mating with me, sunshine! A mate! I want a mate! Well, just as well, cos I'm not having any of that nonsense! You're just a long streak of nothing!
Throughout some of his journeys with Donna after the really large mishap with the Sontarans: the Doctor, Donna, and Martha Jones somehow end up getting taken on a tip by the TARDIS and there they or rather the Doctor gets his hand stuck in a biological machine which takes his TNA and out puts a young woman whom Donna names Jenny. Technically in a scientific terms she is his daughter and well he leaves her as he though her dead by she wasn't so he moves on with them, drops Martha back home and continues on with his traveling with Donna. Donna didn't last too long as the Daleks came back yet again, they always keep coming back. This time they decided to move the Earth along with 26 other planets, dwarf planets and moons into a minute out of sync with the rest of the universe in the Medusa Cascade. Donna becomes the Doctor-Donna and the Doctor gains a Meta-Crisis (theorized to eventually become the Valyard). Donna has to loose all her memories of the Doctor and he moves on traveling alone for a long while, went to Mars, met Lady Cristina De Souza, got married to Queen Elizabeth the first somewhere along the way-- ditched and ran away like usual before landing himself in a bigger mess with the Master who as usual, was trying to take over the universe. It lead to Gallifrey coming out of the Time Lock for a total of ten minutes or so, sticking the planet back in the Time Lock, and giving up a live to save Wilfred Mott.
I don't want to go--- Long hair, I'm a girl.
But he wasn't a girl, thankfully. The Doctor was born into his eleventh body running, trying to say in his burning TARDIS which is exactly how he discovered Amelia Pond, storybook girl with fiery red hair. He met her as a girl and left her behind because the TARDIS needed fixing-- new new TARDIS, new new Doctor. He came back for Amelia fourteen years late. They went traveling, ran into River Song a few times, and had all sorts of marvelous adventures until the Doctor was erased from history because he rebooted the universe with the Big Bang Two. Luckily for everyone, Amy remembered him at her wedding and all was well. The Doctor now travels with Amy and Rory Pond in his steampunk styled TARDIS.
