[The Engineer]

ALL AROUND RULES

1. Behavior: Behavior is important no matter where you go, whether it be at work, school, basiaclly in any social setting. Think a forum as a real social setting, you wouldn't want someone to disrespect you right? Well other people wouldn't like that either, so behave as if you were in a true social setting and treat others as you would like to be treated.

2. Stealing: Now Proboards going something on that and you would have to read up on the rules and terms on it. However it is still considered bad out there in the real world and in the digital word it's just as bad. So I would like to keep stealing to a bare none if you know what I mean.

3. Staff: Staff are people too and should be respected as much, especially seeing as they have the power to ban you and make your life pretty bad. Doesn't mean I approve of abusiveness of power I'm just saying respect them or you might feel the justice hammer on your head so to speak.

4. Harsh Language: Now cursing and swearing are all fine in my book, as long as it's not offending someone and isn't being consistently used. If it is you will be issued a warning, warnings are at the bottom of the rules list so be careful on how many you get.

5. Leed speak: If you don't know what leed speak is it usually refers to shorting out a proper word to a slang like state. Such as saying why it would be substituted for y. This isn't proper speaking and I don't know about you but I speak perfect english and don't speak like that. So I wont tolerate it on the forum, some people hate it while others don't however I want to make sure every one is clear, NO LEED SPEAK!

6. Third Person: Basically means that everything RP must be in a narrative point of view, hence not using I but he or she. Period.

7. Posting limit- The posting limit while RPing is at least AT least one paragraph. That means you must have at least 5-9 sentences in one Rp post.

8. Warnings: Warning will be given from Staff members once, twice will be a more harsher tone but you will still be given a chance. After the second time you will get banned for a certain amount of days before allowed access again. If it happens after the temporary banning you will be stripped of your character and be banned permanently no exceptions.

IN CHARACTER RULES

1. Mary and Gary Sues: Basically means that your character came from Final fantasy with pure imperfection and is a god or goddess. Don't know about you but I don't think we have a god or a goddess in our hands and don't think we ever will. So please try and make sure your characters have some ugly truths behind them.

2. Godmoding: Well this should be self explanatory however there will be people saying you didn't explain it. Okay well Godmoding is basically the controlling of anothers character besides your own. So basically you make the move for them and you usually would make your character come out first. You see this isn't how Rps work you make out a scene and than someone else counters it with you countering back. Godmoding will not be acceptable and you will gain a warning if I am told you have been doing so.

3. Romance: Alright Romance is cool, we all love and like so why shouldn't our character yeah? Well as long as it's under kissing than I'm fine if your going to make your characters do something more than that then take it to PM or something not on the forum please.
